OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University women's soccer team knocked off Texas Wesleyan 3-2 on Tuesday at Stars Field.
Sarah Leonard, a junior from West Yorkshire, England, scored the game-winning goal for the Stars in the second half at the 79th minute.
Malin Andersson, a sophomore from Huskvarna, Sweden, led the Stars with two goals and eight shots in the match. Caroline Dixon, a freshman from Manchester, England, also contributed to the win with two assists.
The Stars generated 22 shots while holding Texas Wesleyan to just four shots in the match.
OCU improved to a 2-3-1 record and will face East Central on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Stars Field.
